Now sharing an easy to make pan fried cutlets.
Its fried with very little oil. So a perfect snack for health conscious people.
Green Moong lentils are loaded with nutritional health benefits. By eating Green moong lentils or dal you get high protein, low calorie food that is packed with vitamins and minerals.
A best filling option for those who wants to shed kilos.
And Sprouts are wonder food due to its high nutritional value.
And we all know oats as world’s healthiest food. Better way to gain the strength and energy. Oats are loaded with dietary fiber too.
So enjoy it as a snack without any guilt.
Recipe
Green gram/green moong – 1 cup overnight soaked or sprouts
Oats – 1 cup ground
Grated ginger – 1 teaspoon
Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon
Onions – 2 finely chopped
Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon or to taste
Green chilli – 1-2 finely chopped
Potatoes – 2 boiled and mashed
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons chopped
Black pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon optional
Oil for shallow frying
Method
Grind the oats and keep aside. We have to use it for binding.
Grind the soaked green gram or sprouts.
In a large bowl mix green gram/sprouts paste, boiled and mashed potatoes, onions, salt and all the spices. You can add some more boiled potatoes or some grated paneer/cottage cheese for taste. Mix well.
Now add ground oats gradually. Add as much require for binding.
Make patties of any shape of your choice.
Shallow fry on a nonstick pan with little oil.
Serve hot with onion rings and sauce or any chutney.
You can pair it with burger buns with onion, tomato rings and sauce. Or make sandwiches with it.
You can sprinkle some chaat
masala over the cutlets.
