Recipe is very simple and easy. I have used some halved cherry tomatoes with whole tomatoes. Halved Cherry tomatoes will make your pasta juicy flavourful and super tasty. I have used dry basil but you can also use fresh basil leaves. Or use oregano or any herbs of your choice.
Recipe
Shell pasta- 200 gram
Onion- 1, chopped
Garlic – 3, minced
Cherry tomatoes – 6 halved
Cherry tomatoes- 12 whole
Frozen sweet corn- 1/3 cup
Olive oil- 2 tablespoon
Cheese cube- 1, grated
Salt to taste
Dry basil – 1 teaspoon
Freshly crushed black pepper- 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
Water – 1/4 cup
Method
1. Boil the pasta as directed on the package. Rinse with fresh water. Drain the water and keep aside. Reserve 1/4 cup water.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and finely chopped onion. Saute till onion becomes translucent.
3. Add halved and whole Cherry tomatoes. Saute till tomatoes soften and start to release the juice.
4. Add sweet corn. I have used frozen sweet corn. If you are using fresh sweet corn, boil the corn kernel before using. Add salt and cook for 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring.
5. Add boiled pasta and mix well. Add dried basil and freshly crushed black pepper. Toss everything well.
6. Add grated cheese and mix well. Add 1/4 cup water or remaining water of boiled pasta. Mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
7. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Add little more black pepper, salt and basil if required. Remove from heat. Your pasta is ready to serve. Garnish with Cherry tomato and grated cheese. Serve hot.
Notes
1. Add less or more cheese according to your taste.
2. You can use oregano or any herbs of your choice.
3. Fresh basil leaves can be used instead of dry basil.

- 6 Cherry tomatoes (halved )
- 12 Cherry tomatoes (Whole )

- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Cheese cube (grated )
- Salt
- 1 tsp Dried basil
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper (freshly crushed )
- 1/4 cup Water
