6 Shot glasses
3 Amla or gooseberry 1 Beetroot 1 tbsp Lemon juice 1 inch Ginger 1 Inch Fresh turmeric 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp Dried Mint powder Or a few mint leaves 1/2 tsp Black salt 1-2 cup Water
Rinse amla or gooseberries, beetroot, ginger and fresh turmeric.
Chop the amla or gooseberries into small pieces. Peel and chop the beetroot, ginger and fresh turmeric.
Blend all the ingredients with water. Add salt, black pepper powder, mint leaves or dried mint powder and lemon juice. Blend again.
Strain the mixture. Add more water to get your desired consistency. Taste and add more salt, pepper and lemon juice if required.
Pour the juice in the glass. Garnish with lemon wedges, mint leaves or ginger julienne.
1 . A pinch of Cinnamon powder can be used instead of mint powder.
2 . You can add little cumin powder if you want.
